Susan MacDermid oversees Real Branding’s strategy and business development practices, leveraging insight into customer behavior to develop digital strategies that achieve marketing objectives. Susan’s clients include 25 of the world’s top 100 brands and include ABC, Adidas, AOL, AT&T, BMG, Cartier, Citibank, Coca-Cola, Delta, Diageo, Disney, EMI, ESPN, Fujitsu, GE, GM, Hitachi, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Lipton, Matsushita, Panasonic, Sony, Sprite, Toshiba, Warner Bros., UBS, and Unilever. In 2007, Susan was appointed to Real Branding’s Executive Committee, reporting to its Board of Directors.
Susan has 15 years’ international marketing experience, managing Asia-Pacific, the EU, and North America. She is an award-winning interactive strategist; and has earned over a dozen international awards for marketing innovation.

Susan was previously Chief M-Commerce Strategist for Ecrio, a wireless software developer. Prior to that, she held various management roles: Founder and President of a $10 million overseas office for Modem Media (acquired by Digitas, subsequently acquired by Publicis), and Managing Director of InfoPlus, a privately held integrated marketing agency.
Susan did her Ph.D. fellowship researching the emergence of mass media at Keio University, Tokyo. She is fluent in Japanese.
